Woke up this morning in a big pool of sweat
The alcohol consumed last night has turned my eyes to red
Within my mouth I can taste the tip of my thermometer
beside my bed is a bucket I’m known as ” the famous womitter”
I’m lying here with nothing else to do and play the right hand blues
Went down to the baker just to get me some bread
Its hard to get out a door with a one square meter head
The sweet sweet waitress with the sweet sweet smile I said
“Hey honey I´d like to call you what number shall I dial
When I get back I’m gonna think of you and play some right-hand blues
I pick´d her up at eight o’clock and went into a bar
We took a stroll downtown in my rented car
Tried the local disco and we acted like a spass
cause the band inside the corner played some syncopated jazz
The guitar player´s making eyes at you
he´ better play some right-hand blues
The night just started fading we could see the morning light
my shirt was on the ceiling and I couldn’t find my tie
We did some heavy drinking and some dancing too
In silly walk we went home from the “Cockatoo”
You’re sleeping and I’m lying next to you and play some right-hand blues
Woke up this morning in a big pool of sweat
The alcohol consumed last night has turned my eyes to red
I’m happy as can be because my waitress is my wife
ev´ry day´s the same what a lovely way of life
I’m lying here with nothing else to do than play the right-hand blues
