One night I got entangled in a mystery beyond compare
The cartoons in my comic book behaved as if I wasn’t there

As they shook their hands and knees they sang out in a quiet tune

We know we’re not allowed to party when its light

Merlin metamorphosed all my items to another day
Santa Claus would pick ’em up and start to give it all away
Spiderman and He-man talked to Batman ’bout their greatest fights
Superman and Dracula would lay down in a crypt to night

Paralysed and mesmerised I could not believe my eyes
Had to light the candle light, came in handy with extended sight

Lets go party party party all night
We know we’re not allowed to party when its light

Celestial tunes in high pitched voices
All of the ink have dissolved into one
Within my room are all these noises
Who will believe me at the crack of dawn
